    • If your area has minimal growth, cleaning once every 3 years may be sufficient.

    Pumping water out is optional. The DockyDock protects your boat hull whether there is water inside or not. However, removing the water can help prolong the life of boat anodes. Rainwater may accumulate but does not harm the boat.
  • If there is water inside the DockyDock, will barnacles grow on the boat hull?
    No. As long as the DockyDock is closed and encapsulating the boat, barnacles will not grow. The lack of water flow and oxygen prevents barnacle growth.
  • How do I use my air conditioning unit with the boat inside the DockyDock?
    Air conditioning will work as long as there is water inside the DockyDock. Feedback from customers indicates no issues using A/C.
  • How long does the DockyDock last?
    DockyDock can last over 30 years with proper care and maintenance. It has no electrical or mechanical parts, making it trouble-free apart from potential accidental damage, which can be easily repaired.

    Cleaning every five years is recommended, but it depends on preference. A jet/power wash is sufficient.
